River Orwell

I was birding at low water under the Orwell Bridge this am, when a JAY headed out over the river. He had only got 20 yards across when he was forced into the water by a mixed group of gulls. He flounded in the water for a short while and made it into the air. Only to be downed again by three crows. He managed to get airborne again. Only to be attacked again 200 yards from far shore. He managed to get 10ft from shore as a peregrine hit him into the water. He lumbered to shore wet and very worse for wear.
Think this is a WHIMBRAL on the near shore of the Orwell. MALLARD mid stream swimming 11 and at least 50+ CORMORANT with also 60+ OYSTERCATCHER  and 20 CURLEW and a scattering of REDSHANK. 2 GREY LAG GEESE and two CANADA GEESE.
