Pahways

Bright day with a soothing North breeze.

This day brought in an interesting sigting with two LESSER WHITETHROAT feeding young. So obviously breeding on site which is for this area a very good report. This now brings the species list for the site to 58.  Also a single young LITTLE GREBE with four adults of which one was nest sitting. There are no young MOORHEN but there are still 9 young MALLARD. Young GREENFINCH and GOLDFINCH to, but the always star is the two young ROBINS.
There were hundreads of COMMON BLUE damselflies and also some dragonflies but all to far away to id. I did have four BLACK TAILED SKIMMER which also a good record for site.
