Fisher Row

Walk round the reserve brought in SWALLOW, SWIFT, SAND MARTIN. We where also treated to a good view of the local BARN OWL who went down after prey. We did not see but identified at least 4 GRASSHOPPER WARBLERS. The best however in real terms was 2 CUCKOO one with large caterpillar which it was carrying to it's mate. I have seen this before, as an act of courtship so perhaps they will make it. I was surprised at the number of BLACKCAP as well, both male and female.
