Carlton Marsh

Went out for a walk round Spratt's Water and as far as the telegraph wires. Best bird for the year was 3 YELLOW WAGTAIL'S which where feeding under the feet of a small group of cattle. Also had 1 male MARSH HARRIER which was hunting low to the ground in strong wind. Also picked up with a lone FIELDFARE getting late now in the year should be moving on soon. Other birds of interest KESTREL, WILLOW, CHIFFCHAFF. BLACKCAPE, CETTI'S  WARBLER.
