Still adding to the year list with a fly in from Oulton Marsh WITH a GLOSSY IBIS, It flew into Petos and dropped into the pool infront of Turnpike Hide. Sadly no one was about so on the hottest day of the year it was good to just pick it out. Also a COMMON SANDPIPER flew up the river, disturbed by the Broads Authority launch. Also a KINGFISHER was calling as was a CUCKOO. A family of EGYPTION GEESE swam by with 5 young. Only one BLACKCAP and two WHITETHROAT. I also had a brief encounter with a STOAT as it ran across the track.
