Gunton Hall and Pathways.

The day was reasonably warm with the air still. Damp around feet but still pleasant.
Gunton Hall:   The best bird was a KINGFISHER and the number of MALLARD was very high at 37. The numbers of MOORHEN was down on last year but still hold well. GOLDCREST in at 3 and EGYPTIAN GOOSE still holding at a pair. BLACK HEADED GULLS roasting on swimming pool roof for extra warmth.
Pathways:  Still duck about with MALLARD numbers down as was GADWALL and WIGEON but a GREY HERON was the first for a few weeks. But what was interesting was the adult COMMON GULL which always needs a second look as you just never know if it will turn out to be R.B.Gull. But no such luck.
