Best bird was the lovely plumage of a RED KNOT who was only on the beach for a minuet. It was with a pair of SANDLING which did stay a short time longer. The sound of COMMON TERN with young being fed is also a great joy, but it was obvious that they were struggling to find small fish for dinner. There was also 9 SANDWICH TERN post sitting and looking rather lazy.

Links Hill, Lowestoft, North Shore.
No wonder birds have trouble in feeding because as soon as they turn up on the beach someone walks by with a dog. The thing is they are still enjoying our summer so who would deprive them of there few days in our most glorious part of the country.
