Pathways, Lowestoft.

Rather overcast, with a light breeze from the North again.
Managed to put another bird on the list with a HOBBY which was being upset by a gull. But the best thing I actually saw was a KINGFISHER which was hovering over the water. It did not dive but I have never seen this before. It was also good to see about 50 SAND MARTINS feeding over the surface of the water. LITTLE GREBE came in at 2 but no little ones yet. As for the female MALLARD she was no were to be seen and only four ducklings left. It looks like the MUTE SWAN pair have still no been to work, just a bare nest. The COOT was still there after a week and very noisy.
As for small stuff WHITETHROAT 1, BLACKCAP 3, CHIFFCHAFF 1, LONG TAILED TIT, GREENFINCH, SWIFT 2, SKYLARK 1, SONG THRUSH 1.
