North Denes, Lowetoft.

Denes:  Walk round the normal paths that make up this site. I suppose the most unusual was a vole which was intent on running in and out in front of me. Rather to quick for pic, hence the bad one that follows. But what is the pale patch on its rump. Any ideas.

The count was as follows, with WHITETHROAT at four and three GREENFINCH feeding on cow parsley as well as eight TURNSTONE flying along the  North Wall.

Home: Fly over calling was four CURLEW all heading South as two pairs. But to my way of thinking I think one pair were young birds.                                              But was this a Reed Warbler?
