22.03.2012 Thursday: Needed to head of to Barnby so while there a quick drive around drew in several CHIFFCHAFF calling alongside North Cove. Also a GREAT-SPOTTED-WOODPECKER and a fly over the car roof COMMON BUZZARD. this bird was well patterned out and a typical. On return to Lowestoft PEREGRINE on silo.
Today: Gull started to kick off, a sign off bird of prey. Shaw enough a large raptor flew through over station square heading south being mobbed by gulls. The bird was very flat winged and very turned up at tips. Latter in the afternoon repeat performance, but just west of us flying about 500 yards away at a hundred feet, traveling south again. Clear id this time as a COMMON BUZZARD.
