Drive and short walk brought a rather long list so here we go. Good fly over of a COMMON BUZZARD.Flying into strong west wind. Other bird of note was a pair of COMMON REDPOLE at only 15 feet from the car window. In real terms however it was good to see a flock in and out of the old pig area of CHAFFINCH (30+) birds. In this group also PIED WAG (6) and a single MEADOW PIPIT. CURLEW (4) LAPWING (70) SHELLDUCK (4) MALLARD (7) GREAT-S-WOOD (1) KESTREL (5) GOLDCREST (7) REDWING (1) BLACKBIRD (14) GREAT TIT AND BLUE TIT lost count.
