I didn't bother to count, so take it from me there was 301 Geese along Acle Strait at midday, with Lapwing and Golden Plover feeding well in meadows to the North. Also Gannets counted 8 flying far out at Ness Point. Best however was 12 Eider flying North. 6 drake birds showing well as they lined up close to the water. The only issue here was the front leading bird was more like a female mallard. To far out to tell?
