Pathways. Gunton Hall.
Call in for a short walk round, best bird a KINGFISHER who at one point sat just 20 feet away. But with first movement he was gone like a shot. The first time I have had a pair of COOT on the pool.
Gunton Hall : Best bird GREAT SPOTTED WOODPECKER and COAL TIT. Other counts all low.

Corton Logging Mill.
Well it's officially the first day of spring and with some warmth in the air all is right with the world. Chance would be okay. What with a country that can't tell if it is in or out and the killing of innocent children in New Zealand there is nothing to add. Except shall not the Lord of all the world do right.
With spring comes YELLOW BRIMSTONE BUTTERFLY 3 for the walk and 4 RED ADMIRALS.
CHIFFCHAFF 3, all singing. COMMON BUZZARD assumed one. Best was the calling frogs that sounded like a flock of geese.Species list 20.
Chiffchaff with a view through it's beak, odd or what.

Pathways
Placed 10 nest boxes here today in the wild. But a joy was the 3 SPARROWHAWKS which were sky diving. What with slow wing beats, climbing with turnout. But never seen flared under tail covets.
