Pathways
Sometime since I placed a post so here goes.
With 21 species in 1 hour not bad. Best was the count of 4 LITTLE GREBE, also two calling BLACKCAP and still a singing SONG THRUSH.
This female house sparrow has become my serious friend.

Pathways
Just an our on site brought up 23 species the best was the first pair of POCHARD on the lake. Also one KINGFISHER flew in and straight out. Also BLACKCAP and WHITETHROAT. Also the first SWALLOW.

Called and enjoyed a coffee with a picnic hamper, but it was good to see three GREY WAGTAIL with a pair feeding young.
A new garden tick for the year with a calling and singing COMMON WHITETHROAT.
