As I was driving through Oulton over the lock I saw a single shag sitting on the floating mooring adjacent to the lock gates. Turned out that there was this single bird and a pair showing another young bird how to swim.
On arrival at Hen Reed Bed a bittern flew in and landed only 50 feet away. Plenty of small stuff around with REED BUNTING,REED WARBLER,LITTLE EGRET,HERONS, CETTI'S WARBLER, BLACKCAP, WHITETHROAT,WREN,YELLOWHAMMER and one female MARSH HARRIER. But the best of all was a fly through of a HOBBY who writhed about pool for just a few seconds and cleared off with a dragon fly which it promptly eat on the wing.

Somerlyton-Herringfleet
While on way home from work at around 16:35 hours a souring bird of prey. Who then decided to put on a show and hang in the air as still as you like for the scope. This is not the first view of this bird but again a very obliging bird in a bright blue sky.

Camps Heath Marshes
The weather was not looking good and the likelihood of a storm was real. Despite this my son Jonathan and I set out for a walk over railway line and then along the river. This would involve a rather none engaged meeting with a bull, disappointed no.
SEDGE WARBLERS calling from the side of the car as we parked at the railways line. Followed by a HOBBY over the the marsh. This bird was catching the wind and flying off south. EGYPTION GEESE beside the dyke and by the river the first of four REED BUNTINGS. GREENFINCHES along river with the occasional BLUE TIT calling. A young CROW was interested in us as we walked by his little hide away in a half dead willow. We also came across what I assumed was pair of CUCKOO. One flew of into reed, so I assume ws looking for a nest for purpose. The other eventhually flew of and both setof east. I also picked up with four STOCKDOVE and only one SKYLARK. A pair of REDSHANK flew low over marsh. CHAFFINCH and CHIFCHAFF calling around the village of Camps Heath.
Also several COMMON BLUE DAMSELFLIES

What's about.
Went for a ride last Saturday and picked up flutter by on nettles at the side of the road. Makes a reasonable photo anyway. COMMON BUZZARD at Ravingham on the evening of the June 15th and also a male MARSH HARRIER. Small stuff flitting though the hedges from Haddiscoe to Loddon. Also took a look on the 15th out at sea but nothing really showing. However at Sheringham a cruising FULMER along cliff and also KESTREL being mobbed by JACKDAWS. Main surprise is that there seems to be no breeding taking place amongst the gulls in the area. Just a bit odd to say the least. There seems to be none around at all and it is very silent for a June. My question is up if anyone would like to respond, WHAT HAVE THEY BEEN FED. Or is this normal behaviour.
